Educational Planning: Conceptual Framework, Models, and Approaches

Abstract
This study aims to examine the concept of educational planning in a theoretical framework and to analyse planning models and approaches. Educational planning is the process of predetermining when, where, how and with which resources the activities necessary to achieve the objectives determined in the education system will be carried out. The study was conducted with a review design from qualitative research methods, and the theoretical foundations of the subject were explained by reviewing the relevant literature. Firstly, the definition, importance and basic components of educational planning were explained. Then, the types of educational planning (time-based planning, strategic planning, operational planning, and curriculum planning) and the basic principles of planning (scientificity, flexibility, efficiency, participation, and transparency) were discussed. In addition, the stages of training planning and how the planning process should be managed are emphasised. In the study, various education planning models in the literature were analysed. In this context, the social demand model, manpower requirement model, cost-effectiveness model, cost-benefit model, normative models, and artificial intelligence-supported planning model were analysed. Dynamic Ecosystem Based Training Planning Model (DETPM) is proposed as the original contribution of the study. This model consists of data-driven continuous analysis, ecosystem-oriented stakeholder engagement, flexible and adaptable structures, future-oriented planning and digital transformation. As a result, it is emphasised that for education planning to be successful, a sustainable planning that can adapt to changing conditions and participatory approaches should be adopted. Continuous updating of education policies, efficient use of resources and strengthening the systematic planning approach are considered important for the future of education systems.

Abstract
Main purpose of this research is to search metacognitive awareness of 6. grade students about mathematics, to evaluate the students' attitudes and anxiety levels, and to examine the relation between these variables. Data were collected using the "Anxiety Towards Mathematics", "Attitude Towards Mathematics" and "Meta-Cognitive Awareness Towards Mathematics" scales. Data were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program. Normality tests were applied to the data, the minimum and maximum scores of the data were determined, and the arithmetic mean and correlation coefficient values were calculated. In result, it was determined that the students' attitudes and concerns about mathematics were at a medium level, but their metacognitive awareness was at a high level. Nonetheless, no significant relation were found between these variables. Although there are studies on attitude, anxiety or metacognition perception in the mathematics education literature, the number of studies examining these three variables together is limited. Therefore, it is thought that the relevant study will bring innovation to the literature.

Abstract
This research was conducted using an explanatory sequential mixed design, prioritizing quantitative data, to determine the problem-solving attitudes and mathematics anxiety of girls' vocational high school students. A correlational screening method was used in the study. Quantitative data were collected using the Mathematics Anxiety Scale and the Attitude Towards Mathematics Problem Solving Scale. To further explore the quantitative data, semi-structured interviews were conducted with a total of 12 students, one from each department and grade level. Descriptive statistics and two-way factor analysis were used in the analysis of quantitative data, while qualitative data were examined using content analysis. The findings indicate that the students' problem-solving attitudes were generally negative and their mathematics anxiety was low. While problem-solving attitudes varied by department, they did not show significant differences by grade level. Mathematics anxiety varied by grade level, but did not differ by department variable. The semi-structured interviews supported the quantitative findings and provided explanatory qualitative data. The results reveal that special mathematics programs and textbooks should be prepared for vocational high schools in order to increase the problem-solving attitudes of vocational high school students and reduce their mathematics anxiety.

Abstract
Today, social media has become an indispensable part of our lives and is widely used on a daily basis. The intensive use of social media can be explained by the opportunities it offers and the transformations it creates in our communication habits. The ability to reach people who are inaccessible in daily life through social media, to stay in touch with old friends in different regions, to build global networks much faster and more widely, to access the network you want, including many applications (such as notes, photos, albums, event planners, etc.), and the ease of making new friends through these channels make the use of social media attractive. People use social media intensively to achieve various goals, and at this point, when they face difficulties in realizing various goals, frustration occurs, it has a negative impact on their mood. Thus, after young people see pictures, videos, and daily life situations of various people that are openly presented to the public on social media, they experience dissatisfaction with their appearance, social status, and quality of life. Since social media creates a more depressive situation among women, it can be suggested to organize theater, music, art, and various hobby groups in universities, workplaces, and various spheres of society, so that these women can engage in activities other than daily education and work, socialize, fill their free time with activities that make them feel happy, and express themselves through the type of activity they choose. It is important to note that although social media has a negative impact on young people, it also has positive aspects such as facilitating social relationships, providing educational resources, and encouraging creativity and self-expression. The impact of social media on young people varies between individuals, and it is crucial to encourage responsible use and provide them with support and guidance to navigate the digital landscape.

Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most dynamic and transformative technologies in contemporary society, significantly impacting diverse sectors, including healthcare, education, finance, and entertainment. In particular, the integration of AI into the gaming industry has not only redefined traditional entertainment but also created new opportunities for cognitive training and mental development. Cognitive games, primarily aimed at enhancing memory, attention, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, are increasingly leveraging AI-driven algorithms to provide users with personalized learning experiences and real-time adaptation. These adaptive systems are capable of dynamically adjusting difficulty levels, offering targeted challenges, and monitoring cognitive progress, thereby enhancing both user engagement and the overall effectiveness of the training process. This paper investigates the application of AI in cognitive games and examines how intelligent algorithms contribute to adaptive gameplay, user motivation, and measurable cognitive outcomes. A review of experimental models and recent studies indicates that AI enables a deeper understanding of human cognitive processes, providing valuable insights into learning patterns, attention spans, and decision-making strategies. Through the implementation of machine learning, reinforcement learning, and predictive modeling, cognitive games can move beyond static exercises to deliver individualized learning paths tailored to each user’s specific needs. Overall, the research demonstrates that AI-powered cognitive games represent a synergistic intersection of technology, education, and psychology, offering substantial potential for future development. By ensuring ethical design, data privacy, and inclusivity, these AI-based platforms can function as effective tools for cognitive enhancement, psychological well-being, and human–machine collaboration, ultimately reshaping the future of interactive learning and entertainment.

Abstract
Due to the rapid technical advances taking place in the current education system, the creation of an information society and the digitalization of the educational process are necessary. Digital tools are becoming an important part of educational strategies and are no longer just a way to convey knowledge. Along with the renewal of technical infrastructure, these developments necessitate a change in educational strategies. In addition to ensuring modernity, the use of digital technology in education opens up new opportunities to improve the quality, accessibility and interactivity of training. Now, the implementation of the changes in the global educational landscape of digital technologies and the demand for student improvement is one of the priority issues.

The Essence of Independent Work of Students at High School

Abstract
In the system of independent work of students, organized on the basis of certain principles and conditions, ensuring cognitive interests increases their intellectual activity, forms the need for cognitive and independent work. The internal need directs the student to independent work, and thus independent labor activity arises. The correct and effective use of the possibilities and methods of the system of independent work of students in higher education, in addition to deepening and consolidating students' knowledge, forming skills and abilities, also has a stimulating value, as a result of which, starting pedagogical activity as a graduate, the student shows intellectual and professional activity. The basis of the skills of independent work of students is laid in high school. The content, possibilities, methods and forms of independent work in higher education are based on previously acquired skills, give impetus to the formation of an independent and active character, additionally strengthen the will, make a person self-confident and courageous. The possibilities of TMI in higher education are wide. It is included in lessons and extracurricular activities provided for by this curriculum, in free independent work outside the curriculum, and the results of its use arise with a certain budget of time and effort. The methods of organizing and implementing TMI in higher education are varied, but they are all interconnected, serve a single purpose and perform the task of forming the student's readiness for independence.
