About the Journal

J-EDUCAT: Journal of Educational Studies is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes original research in the field of educational sciences.

The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of educational research by providing an academic platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners working in different areas of education.

J-EDUCAT publishes theoretical, empirical, and review studies related to education, including but not limited to the following fields:

  • educational leadership

  • educational technology

  • higher education studies

  • curriculum and instruction

  • teacher education

  • educational policy

  • learning sciences

The journal encourages interdisciplinary perspectives and aims to support the dissemination of innovative and high-quality research in education.

Publication Model

J-EDUCAT is a peer-reviewed open access journal. All articles published in the journal are freely accessible online without subscription or access fees.

The journal follows the principles of open access publishing in order to promote the global dissemination and accessibility of scholarly research.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to J-EDUCAT undergo a double-blind peer review process. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an impartial and objective evaluation.

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

Publication Frequency

J-EDUCAT is published biannually, with two issues per year. (May- November)

Languages of Publication

The primary languages of publication are English and Turkish.

Manuscripts written in other languages such as Russian and Azerbaijani may also be considered if they fall within the journal’s scope and meet the academic and editorial standards of the journal. In such cases, manuscripts must include an English title, abstract, and keywords in order to ensure international accessibility.

Open Access Policy

J-EDUCAT provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the global exchange of knowledge.
All articles are published under a Creative Commons license.
